Interior Design Idea: Urban Apartment Decorating Style
If you’re out of ideas on how to improve your apartment’s interior design, you’re in the perfect place!
Because today we’re going to present you a great interior design idea that could inspire you into transforming your apartment!
And the one we’re going to show you today is a model suite created by the GAO Architects.
The ultramodern suite is situated in a Slovenia apartment building, and it comes with a dynamic interior filled with saturated colors and functional spaces.
GAO Architects wanted to create a dynamic and creative space within the city, and the final result is amazing! So let’s see how the place looks like, and at the end we’ll see if you are feeling inspired by this great interior design idea.
So let’s start with the living room, a perfect area for relaxing after a hard day at work, or why not, a work day at home, which we have to say would look a lot better than in an office building.
This room is actually a 3 in 1 room, that can also be used as a home office or a media center, so I guess that’s pretty awesome.
With a big comfy sofa in front of the TV and the walls transformed into a shelving area, this room looks amazing and it is super functional.
Right behind the dining area, which is also situated in the living room, we can find a modern and beautiful kitchen, which features a geometric shelving unit.
With a beautiful black fridge instead of the standard stainless steel, and a solid oak wood counter-top peninsula, this kitchen looks absolutely amazing! And in order to stop the kitchen from feeling to linear, the guys from GAO Architects, perfectly placed a curvy mirror over the wall top-shelf.
But that’s not all, this kitchen also features a metal artwork that just happens to be a functional room divider, and we have to say that it looks great.
Behind that metal artwork room divider, we can find a bench, which is the perfect place to sit when you’re putting on, or taking of you shoes. But the bench is also a perfect way to store that shoes, so once again, very functional.
Also, from the hall presented above, you can make your entrance into the two bedrooms the apartment has to offer, plus a guest room and a bathroom.
Although the rooms are small, they were designed to maximize all the available space, and the final result is a clean and minimalistic one, but with splashes of colour to make the environment a little bit fun.
The two bedrooms and the social zone/living room open up beautifully to an amazing atrium with a covered outdoor dining area.
Just imagine how nice is the view during night time, when you feel like grabbing a bite or just relaxing a bit over a glass of wine.
So now it’s your turn to let us know if you were inspired by this amazing interior design idea, and which parts would you implement in redecorating your own home.
