The kid created a test strip made from paper that is dipped into a carbon nanotube solution.
The test detects viruses and antigens using conductivity that changes during testing, making this solution both inexpensive and quick.
Even though his invention just surfaced the medical world, he has a bright career in front of him, and a prize consisting in $75,000 that he won and the Intel International Science And Engineering Fair for this amazing invention that could revolutionize the way cancer patients discover their diseases quicker, giving them the chance to react to the illness earlier.
