2. Her role in the White House
While Trump made Jared Kushner his Senior Advisor, he did not give any title to Ivanka. But she works in the White House and is often times involved in Trump’s work. She has been so since the campaigning day. In fact, she balanced her father’s rhetoric controversies with her softer and calmer demeanor. Well, to be fair, anyone is pretty much softer and calmer next to Trump.
Trump admires Ivanka. And some say she is the only person he consistently listens to. Combined with her husband’s role as US President’s Senior Advisor, that is huge.
She may not have the official role in the White House. But she has been sitting on high level meetings. For example, just days after the election, she sat alongside her father to meet Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe. Then, when Trump met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, there she was too.
All of these facts raise one particular question, is she the first daughter or the first lady? We’ll discuss the answer to that next.
