Jesse Pinkman’s House from Breaking Bad Can Be Yours For $1.6 Million
The Jesse Pinkman’s house from Breaking Bad is up for grabs! You can now live in a piece of history if you have $1.6 million at your disposal.
This house is famous among the show fans, and they are often seen outside the house taking pictures of them with the house. But if you are one of those fans and you have this kind of money, the house can be yours.
The Spanish Colonial home was featured throughout the Breaking Bad show. “Jesse Pinkman’s house almost became a character in the series itself,” said listing agent Susan Feil.
Pinkman, who was Walter White’s partner and played by Aaron Paul, buys the house from his parents in season three of Breaking Bad.
One thing you must know though: this house doesn’t come with a meth lab!
If you were a true fan of Breaking Bad, you remember Jesse’s house, right? That house that was always filled with drug addicts party people, dead bodies, and a crystal meth lab in the basement.
What we didn’t realize is that the house was an actual, real house. To our surprise, the house it is real, but it can be yours for $1.6 million.
Where is the house located?
Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, just like it was in the show, the place has a nice Southern look which we love.
It has beautifully furnished details, and it appears to be brighter than it did on the show.
The 3,539-square-foot home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two porches and a breakfast nook.
The show ended in 2013, but fans still visit the house, and the home is listed as part of a 3.5-hour trolley tour and is a magnet for tourists.
“Yesterday…there were four young guys doing selfies, one was from Finland,” said Feil. But she added that fans aren’t disruptive. “Although they may stop and take pictures they’ve been very respectful.”
Breaking Bad’s success was a boon to Albuquerque’s economy, she added. “It brought a lot of money into the city.”
The sellers lived in the home “on and off” throughout the show’s filming, Feil said.
The home, which hit the market Tuesday, is not being listed on the local MLS housing database. “But we let all the brokers in town know about it and we are working with anyone who has a buyer.”
The house appears to be one of the most valuable memorabilia from Breaking Bad, that considering the great value of other items.
In 2013, a pair of Walter White’s tighty whities sold for $9,900 at an auction.
And another Breaking Bad house, the home of Gretchen and Elliot Schwartz used during the filming of the season finale, also hit the market with the price tag of $2.65 million.
Both properties are listed on the website fittingly titled breakingbadhouse.com
The house sure looks way better than the times Jesse lived there, because it has been completely renovated. We can’t help but wonder how the home will look like after a fan of the show will purchase it.
In order to help with the purchase, we even featured it on the first episode of Last Week in Luxury, a luxury news show we offer to our subscribers on youtube:
It will keep the simplicity or it will be turned into a true Breaking Bad memorabilia? What do you think?
