5. Her true color upon last Harry Potter book
JK Rowling’s feud with media may seem huge but it was all for righteous reasons. She minds that those paparazzi took her pictures without permission. And of course she felt like it was an attempt to get under her skin when Daily Mail decided to dig her stories through her ex-husband.
But if you look at Rowling’s news today, some of them are quite controversial. She became so open about her views, especially in politic. She wasn’t like this before.
Rowling admitted that she decided to remain neutral (or at least appeared to be), during her time writing the remaining Harry Potter books. Whether it was for the sake of her books’ sales or her focus in writing, she managed to lay low.
Then, her last Harry Potter book was published. And not so long after that, she made £1 million worth of donation to the Labor Party. She also publicly endorsed Labor Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Since then, she has been known as a leftist.
