2. Plagiary Case
Writers often face this matter, plagiarism, whether it is having to face plagiarism threat from others or being accused of doing it. JK Rowling has stood in both of those sides. But the worst is the accusation.
She had a few legal disputes regarding plagiarism. Some of the most notables were filed by Nancy Stouffer, the Wyrd sisters, and Adrian Jacobs’ children. But Rowling managed to win them all.
However, those cases were only temporary headlines to the Harry Potter fans. And there is one case, which never meet the luxury of legal court, discussed by books and movies fans worldwide. It is the case of Harry Potter vs. Lord of the Rings.
There are similarities between these two, especially in their characters. Professor Dumbledore is pretty much like Gandalf. Gollum is similar to Dobby the elf. And of course the main characters, Harry and Frodo are pretty much like twins.
