Jumbo Jet Transformed Into an Awesome Hotel
If you are tired of the traditional hotels, and hotel rooms, you might want to give this a try.
When you think of an aeroplane, your first thought is traveling, you don’t quite think of spending the night in one, as in a hotel.
And this is the main reason why this place is so special, just the idea of a plane acting like a hotel is just awesome, but wait till you see how it looks on the inside.
This Pan Am jet was decommissioned in 2006, and Oscar Dios has spent more than $3 million transforming this plane into a one of a kind hotel with 27 rooms, and an extra suite in the converted cockpit.
“I was getting ready to expand my hostel business in 2006 when I heard about an old wreck of an aircraft for sale at Arlanda,” Oscar Dios states.
The rooms can hold up to 76 people, and the unique hotel features a completely redesigned interior, which you will see in a few moments.
“Our different room categories can accommodate one to three adults in comfort as well as a quad dormitory bed option.”
So let’s start the tour, and step inside the Jumbo Jet Transformed Into an Awesome Hotel!
So this is the extra suite in the converted cockpit, which offers you an awesome panoramic view of the airport.
“A few rooms have a private wc and shower, otherwise access to separate, shared shower and toilet facilities.”
So what do you think, would you book a room at this awesome one of a kind hotel? I’m thinking “yes”, because it would be an amazing experience, and a cool thing to remember.
