Lamborghini does not give up the tradition of inventing a fresh title with each new generation that launches. This car was the successor to the highly successful Gallardo, revealed online in December 2013 and shown in public at the 2014 Geneva show.
The successor of the Gallardo also takes its name from the world of bullfighting: Huracan was a fighting bull known for its courage that fought in 1879.
What does it look like?
With this car, Lamborghini took its purist, unmistakable design language to a new level. The design is bold and edgy, with sculptural forms. The side windows take on a hexagonal form that looks like a gem set into the profile.

What are its specs?
The new V10 engine generates its propulsion from a displacement of 5.2 liters and produces 610 PS (448 kW) at 8,250 rpm. Lamborghini quoted a maximum torque of 560 Nm at 6,500 rpm at launch.
The newly conceived hybrid chassis unites carbon-fiber and aluminum components. At launch Lamborghini quoted a low dry weight of 1,422 kilograms, and the kerb weight is listed at 1,553 kg. Its stiffness gives racing-car handling precision.
Inside, the driver and co-driver enjoy more space and better visibility than in the Gallardo. The dashboard is low-slung with hexagonal trim elements on a slender fascia. The instrument display and air vents look like standalone, add-on components, and a console stretches from the dashboard to the center tunnel.
How much did the Huracan cost, and what came next?
At its launch we knew the price was expected to be around £188,000, roughly £30,000 more than the Gallardo LP560-4.
The family grew over its ten years: the rear-wheel-drive LP 580-2 in 2016, the 640 PS Performante, the LP 640-4 Evo from 2019, the STO in 2021 and the Tecnica in 2022. The Temerario, announced in 2024, ends the V10 line. It uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 making 800 PS together with electric motors. We have not found a current official price list for the Huracan, since it is out of production.
