Tennis Player’s Accesories: The Top 10 List

1. Rafael Nadal’s Wristwatch – Richard Mille’s RM-27 02 Whirlpool ($690,000)

Most male tennis players don’t wear their expensive wristwatch during the match. They wear it before and after. The case is not the same with Rafael Nadal and his Richard Mille’s watch.

He wore this 20 grams watch on the 2015 French Open. Yes, the RM-27 02 Whirlpool Rafael Nadal is amazingly light. It is so light that it doesn’t impact Nadal’s play.

Someone is $690,000 richer when he (or she) stole Nadal’s watch in 2012. Well, Nadal was not very careful with it anyway. He almost lost another one at the same year. Good thing it was found by another tennis player.

When it was first launched in 2010, the watch was bundled with $525,000 price. When Nadal began wearing it in 2013, the price went up to $690,000. Now, it is available with more features and cost $775,000 (after tax: approximately $850,000).

These are the 10 items pro tennis athletes wore (and wear) on court and are still available on the market. The prices you saw here are the retail prices. These items (and other items) may have been sold at even higher price for special edition (such as the original item worn by the players) or special occasion (such as auction and charity).

What do you think about these 10 luxurious tennis wears? Are they tagged with the reasonable price? Or are they just being overrated due to their relevancy with these world class athletes?
