Primaverii is one of Bucharest’s best-known upscale districts, which sets the tone before you open the door. Inside, Smaa went for restraint: balanced use of space, each room kept in its own role, and a sofa that greets you as soon as you enter.
What makes the design work?
The areas connect, so light reaches every room. Walls are white except in the kitchen, where the colour was chosen so it would not interfere with appetite. The living space opens onto a terrace zone enclosed in glass, which puts sunrise and sunset in view from inside. The master bedroom and bathroom are planned as one connected suite. The red accents are what stop the white from going clinical.
Who is Smaa?
Smaa is a multidisciplinary studio working on private houses, apartment complexes, offices, commercial space and hotels, and its portfolio includes the Hilton Craiova. Original source of the project: Smaa. Our pick of the details is the red accents.
