Amankila Resort
Down to number 4 we find ourselves in Bali, the Indonesian island, capital of the Hindu minority of the country. Known worldwide to be a perfect tourist attraction this island made it to our list because here we can find a combination of luxury, peaceful and calm scenery.
So we chose from a large list the Amankila, a resort from the Aman Resorts, a private spot, with spacious villas situated on the hillside of Mount Agung. You can access the area by lifted walkways and from this unique seaside resort you have an exceptional view over the Lombok Strait.
So what did you have in mind when you first saw Bali as a honeymoon destination? Well this is what you get for your money:activities like mountain biking, diving, cultural excursions to temples and ancient water palaces, but here you can experience a pleasant stay with peaceful walks on the private beach in a coconut grove and a special dining place, some quiet time and tranquility in the resort library and spa.
The suites here resemble some kind of beach house and are placed so that you have a different view from each suite and are built to resemble the architectural design of the surrounding temples.
