5. His run for president
Well, this news is not new to you who have been following the United States politic for a long time. Michael Bloomberg’s name has surfaced throughout several presidential elections. He was first mentioned to be one of the candidates in 2008 approaching the end of his time as NYC Mayor. But it appeared to be just a rumor.
Then, history repeated itself on the following 2012 presidential election. And as you can guess, the same thing happened on the last election. But this time, his mogul-politician role was taken by the current US president, Donald Trump.
Apparently, Bloomberg (or whoever is behind his political run) did that to sort of test the water. And perhaps, the responses were not satisfying or convincing enough for him to actually run for president.
Whatever the reason was, we have to wait and see if his name will resurface on the next presidential election. Would he throw his name into the water once more of will he actually jump in and swim?
