Toto Wolff probably is probably the happiest man in Formula 1 today. Why wouldn’t he be? The team he manages, Mercedes AMG Petronas, has just won its third consecutive World Constructors’ Championship title. And his drivers are currently competing for this season World Drivers’ Championship title.
Toto was a race car driver himself. He competed in Austrian Formula Ford Championship, German Formula Ford Series, and GT Championship. But since his younger age, he has been an investor.
He founded the Marchfifteen and Marchsixteen Investments. It specializes in strategic investments in medium-sized industrial and listed companies. Among them is the Williams F1 team. Toto himself became the shareholder of Williams F1 team before finally pitching in for his own team, Mercedes.
