For Formula 1 fans, Chase Carey is a new face. Since Liberty Media bought the Formula 1 business earlier this year, Carey’s name has been popping up for quite some times. Presumably, he will be replacing Bernie Ecclestone as the brain of Formula 1 Gran Prix.
But for American business enthusiasts, Carey’s name is not new. He is a veteran in American media. In fact, he is the Vice Chairman of the 21st Century Fox media. And he helped launch both Fox Sports and FoxNews.
Liberty Media appointed Chase Carey as the new Chairman of Formula One Group. Some of us have the right to worry, whether or not he will do as great job as Mr. E has after all these years. Well, we should give him a chance. Perhaps, he is what we need to make Formula 1 great again.
