7.Abidjan, Ivory Coast
We’re looking at a brighter future at least for this one.
Abidjan is the largest city in Ivory Coast and it’s actually also the third largest French-speaking city in the world.
Abidjan has been a victim of violence for many years because of the wars between different opposing cliques.
But after the arrest of Laurent Gbagbo, the former president and the election of the new one, Alassane Ouattara, things seem like they calmed down a little.
Anyways, there is still a tension in the air and the city still isn’t safe to be walked around.
