9. The Tourist (2010)- $100 million
We talked about this movie when we did Johnny’s movies.
But yes, it wasn’t like they expected to be. The director
Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck tried his best. The story was amazing but not everyone like it.
Story line: “Revolves around Frank, an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path.”
With the initial budget of $100 million, The Tourist managed to earn a total of $68 million. The fact that Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp were the stars, the movie wasn’t so appreciated.
