9. De Brazza’s Monkey – $7,000 to $10,000

You may have read about it in the most expensive pets article, but that doesn’t make it any less animal or any less expensive.

De Brazza’s Monkey is an Old World monkey, and is one of the most widespread African primates that live in forests.

They are quite cute. The specie has gray agouti fur with reddish brown back, black limbs and tail and a white rump. Looks interesting, isn’t it?

Apart from the majestic fur, De Brazza’s Monkeys also have a white stripe that runs down its thigh and its white eyelids match its muzzle and beard.

I’m sure you’ve seen a monkey with a beard before, right?
De Brazza’s Monkeys live in the wetlands of Central Africa, but you can’t really see them because of their superior and innate hiding abilities.
However, they are worth between $7,000 and $10,000.
