Most Expensive Animals in the World

4. Sir Lancelot Encore – $155,000

I never thought I will write about such an impressive animal. The species are a result of a dog-cloning procedure.

A couple paid $155,000 to clone their dog after his sudden death, and so the Sir Lancelot Encore resulted.

Nina and Edgar Otto spend a whopping amount of money to clone their beloved animal because they couldn’t bare the thought to live without their yellow Labrador.

They lost Lancelot and decided to clone his DNA after losing him in 2008 because of cancer.

The cloned dog also managed to father eight puppies, meaning that the cloning part went excellent.

The result is Sir Lancelot Encore, who made them the winners of the Bio-arts auction that took place in San Francisco.
