Who would have thought that Rapunzel’s story will become number one and be the most expensive animated movie ever?
Based on the German fairy tale “Rapunzel”, earned $591 million worldwide and a nomination for Best Original Song at the 83rd Academy Awards.
Six years in production, underwent a controversial name change, became Tangled from original Rapunzel.
Also had issues with one of its longest characters – Rapunzel’s hair. Despite that it became Disney’s 50th animated film.
