The Graff Pink Diamond is the second most expensive colored diamond in the world and it is also the second costliest auction item from our top 10 list.
The emerald cut diamond weighing 24.78 karats used to be the property of jeweler Harry Winston, until November 16, 2010m when it was sold by Sotheby’s auctioneers in Geneva, Switzerland.
Bought for $46 million by English jeweler Lawrence Graff, the rare pink diamond has been described as ‘one of the greatest diamonds ever discovered‘.
