The 1929 100 pound banknote is olive green on a multicoloured underprint and features a portrait of Maori King Tawhiao.
The date of its production is featured in the margin, along with a cancellation. The banknote is extremely rare, and went for $11.500 in December, last year.
The next bill looks so strange.
