World War Z – 200 million dollars
Number one on the list of most expensive Brad Pitt movies features him saving the world from extinction. He plays the role of a former UN Investigator Gerry Lane, father of two daughters and a husband who is on the run of survival for him and his family.
The film was a real success and made 540 million dollars in ticket sales.
If the first budget was set for 125 million dollars to be filmed in Malta Glasgow and Budapest, it had some setbacks due to rewriting the script and the total estimated budget went to the rooftop to 200 million dollars making it the most expensive Brad Pitt movie, apocalyptic, disaster and end of the world movie ever made.
For this amount of money Brad Pitt makes an awesome performance and speeds up a little bit the scene with a smart fast moving and thinking approach, giving you the feeling that he has the brains to figure it out and out think everyone.
With a large range of special effects and some big explosions and other set modifications, the movie has a linear story line where the main character needs to be there for his family and try to rescue them.
Topping several movies in the weekend of the premiere this film has made more money on the first day and the first weekend of sales making somewhere around the first sum appointed for the budget, 125 million dollars.
So we ended the list of most expensive Brad Pitt movies with a new release and noticed that Brad had a wide range of roles some of them similar but in the end unique due to his capacity to play the same role with a different twist every time.
