The most valuable brand in the world is Apple, worth an estimated $607.6 billion in a ranking published in January 2026, with Microsoft close behind at about $565 billion. Google ($433.1 billion), Amazon ($369.9 billion) and Nvidia ($184.3 billion) follow. Brand value is an estimate of what the name alone adds to a company’s earnings, so no two studies agree to the dollar. The ten brands below come from the January 2026 ranking of the top 500, and a second study at the end offers a cross-check.
| Rank | Brand | Brand value (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Apple | $607.6 billion |
| 2 | Microsoft | $565.3 billion |
| 3 | $433.1 billion | |
| 4 | Amazon | $369.9 billion |
| 5 | Nvidia | $184.3 billion |
| 6 | TikTok | $153.3 billion |
| 7 | Walmart | $141 billion |
| 8 | Samsung | $119.2 billion |
| 9 | $107 billion | |
| 10 | State Grid Corporation of China | $102.4 billion |
1. Apple: $607.6 billion
Apple’s brand value rose about 6 percent from $574.5 billion a year earlier. It remains first in this ranking, and the gap to second place has narrowed to roughly $42 billion. Our figure is the published estimate, not a market price.
2. Microsoft: $565.3 billion
The biggest mover in the top three. Microsoft’s brand value jumped about 23 percent from $461.1 billion, the sharpest rise among the leaders.
3. Google: $433.1 billion
Up about 5 percent from $413 billion. Google is the third-largest brand in the ranking.
4. Amazon: $369.9 billion
Amazon grew about 4 percent to $369.9 billion, keeping its place just ahead of the chipmaker below.
5. Nvidia: $184.3 billion
The newest name in the top five. Nvidia’s brand is now more valuable than Facebook’s or Walmart’s, a result of the artificial-intelligence build-out. In another 2025 study it ranked 15th at $43.2 billion, up 116 percent, which shows how much methods differ.
6. TikTok: $153.3 billion
The short-video platform reaches sixth place, ahead of Walmart and Samsung.
7. Walmart: $141 billion
The largest retailer on the list, with a brand value of $141 billion.
8. Samsung: $119.2 billion
The only Korean brand in the top ten.
9. Facebook: $107 billion
Facebook lands at ninth with $107 billion.
10. State Grid Corporation of China: $102.4 billion
The power-grid operator is the only utility in the top ten and the last brand above the $100 billion mark.
A second opinion: the 2025 brand study
A different methodology, published in October 2025, puts Apple first for the 13th year in a row at about $470.9 billion, followed by Microsoft (about $388.5 billion, up roughly 10 percent), Amazon, Google, Samsung, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Instagram, McDonald’s and Mercedes-Benz. In that study Coca-Cola ($60.1 billion) and McDonald’s ($53 billion) make the top ten, which they do not in the 2026 list. Both studies agree on the order of the top two.
What changed since the last version
Earlier versions of this page showed Apple at $98.3 billion and Google at $93.3 billion. Today, the tenth-ranked brand is worth more than the old number one. Toyota, Intel, McDonald’s, GE and IBM have all dropped out of the top ten.
What drives these numbers
- Technology. Most of the top ten are technology or internet companies, and Nvidia reached fifth on the back of the AI boom.
- Scale and loyalty. A brand adds value when customers pay more for it or keep buying, which favors ecosystems.
- Method. Studies use different formulas, so the same brand can differ by $100 billion or more between rankings.
- Not a price tag. You cannot buy a brand alone, and the numbers are estimates, not sale prices.
