8.Samsung – Value: $39.6 Billion
Well, I suppose you were expecting this one on the list.
Samsung is a South Korean multinational conglomerate company that is headquartered in Seoul.
It was initially founded as a trading company in 1938 that expanded into various areas such as textiles, insurance, retail and so on. They entered the electronics industry in the late 1960’s.
But I think we’ll all agree with something. Samsung is damn famous for the constant battle with Apple, trying to defeat them as they are the coolest brand of smartphones at the moment.
