3.Breguet Antique No 2667-$4.24 million
The Breguet Antique No 2667 was actually sold along with No. 4 on our list! The happy buyer is Marc A. Hayek, the President of The Breguet Museum.
This watch is older than the previous one mentioned on our list – it dates from 1814 and Breguet built it to confirm his theory, that “two bodies in close proximity will influence each other”.
The timepiece is obviously a piece of art and it is also an extremely rare piece.
Made with 18-karat yellow gold and having two separate dials, the first numbered with Arabic numerals and the second one numbered with Roman numerals, this masterful object is proof of Breguet‘s ingenuity and refined aesthetic sense.
