10. Bugatti Veyron Ettore Bugatti Legend Edition ($3.2 million)
Last but definitely not least from the Legends series is an honor to the founder, Ettore Bugatti. He was important not just to the brand, but also the world of motoring. His secret was combining family’s artistic legacy with his technical ideas, hence the three main values of Bugatti brand: art, form, technique.
Embodying such an important value, it should come as no surprise that this sixth and last model from Le Légendes de Bugatti series is also the most expensive. The asking price for each unit was around $3.2 million.
The Ettore Bugatti Legend Vitesse reminisce the historic Bugatti Type 41 Royale. The car’s design is a mix of aluminum and leather, all in its own unique and extraordinary design.
Aluminum rim was historically a hallmark of Ettore Bugatti. To underline this, the car’s front part of the carbon body is made of hand-polished aluminum and coated with clear lacquer. Besides Ettore’s laser-engraved signature on petrol and oil filler caps, the platinized “dancing elephant” is also a distinctive mark found on this model. This figure is inlaid into the rear storage compartment lid.
