The third most expensive cake in the world is priced at $35 million.
Can you believe that in 2012, this cake broke the record of the most expensive cake, and in 2015 is the third most expensive?
Created by Chef Dimuthu Kumarasinghe, the cake was set to look just like a pirate’s ship, that includes the ‘booty’, which is an assortment of gemstones and jewelry pieces.
As you may figure it out, those parts are not edible, but it has edible parts too. Those are layers and layers of different flavors of chocolate, pumpkin, and lemon, among others.
The cost of this cake; including its bounty, is 35 million dollars, and held the record for just a little while.
