N2. The National Gay Wedding Show’s Cake- $52 Million
After not even a year since the pirate cake’s world record was broke, this cake appeared and surpassed it.
In 2013, the National Gay Wedding Show in Liverpool got the bakery CAKE to design a cake specifically for the event.
Having eight layers, the cake was almost five feet tall, and had over 2,000 diamonds included in the cake.
The designers were highly interested in creating this for such a special event, and ended up breaking a record while they did it.
The cake was estimated to be worth an incredible $52 million.
