Here is an interesting fact for you: standing on the bottom of this costliest caskets list’s top-3 podium is actually the most expensive casket on today’s market. And even more interesting, even though this casket belongs to Zsa Zsa Gabor, she is still pretty much alive.
I’m not sure what the Golden Casket Company had in mind when they gifted this luxurious casket to her. To be fair, the intention was to honor her recovery after surviving a leg amputation due to infection in 2011. But gifting someone a casket to wish her wellbeing? I just can’t wrap my mind around it.
Her 8th husband, Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, stated that he wants to melt the casket and make a ring for her. Well, it’s gonna be one hell of a ring!
Zsa Zsa just turned 99 years old. She is still alive but suffering from many health issues. And up until today, the casket is still being kept. The same casket is available at the Golden Casket Company at $40,000 retail price.
