We are closing down to the top of our world’s costliest casket list. And on the second place is this 14K Gold Casket. Unfortunately, this casket has no official name and not available on the market.
But that doesn’t mean you cannot get one of these. I am sure any luxury casket manufacturer will take your custom-build order as long as you have the money to pay them.
The name says it all. While most gold casket is made of other metals such as bronze and then coated or plated by gold, this one is entirely made of 14K gold. Thus, it should come as no surprise that it goes with a $217,000 price tag.
The casket seems to be inspired by Chinese Dynasty heritage as you can tell from the engraving throughout the sides of the casket’s interior. It was featured at a coffin exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. And I bet it attracted so many people who wanted to take a look at it closely.
