Nobody publishes receipts for these rings, so every number below is an estimate from jewelers, appraisers and the press, and several sources disagree. We ranked ten rings by the middle of the estimates we found as of October 2026, and we say where the range is wide. Five of the ten date from 2021 or later.

1. Mariah Carey: about $10 million
The 2016 ring is usually described as a 17-carat emerald-cut diamond, though another report puts it at 35 carats. A 2026 guide calls it the most expensive of 20 celebrity rings. Designer Wilfred Rosado is credited with the piece in one report. The $10 million figure is an estimate and the ring is reported to have been sold privately since.
2. Elizabeth Taylor’s Krupp diamond: $8.8 million
Strictly speaking it was a gift ring, not an engagement ring: Richard Burton bought the 33.19-carat Asscher-cut stone at auction in 1968 for $307,000 and gave it to Taylor, who wore it as a ring and called it her favorite piece. It sold in 2011 for $8.8 million, and the guide we checked suggests it could fetch more today. We kept it because it was the number one on earlier versions of this page and is the only ring here with a real sale price.
3. Beyoncé: $5 million to $6.5 million
Reports describe an 18-carat emerald-cut diamond with a split shank, designed by Lorraine Schwartz, from 2007 or 2008. Estimates range from £3.8 million up to $6.5 million. We use the dollar range.
4. Jennifer Lopez: $3 million to $10 million
The 2022 ring has a natural green diamond of 8.5 carats flanked by white trapezoid diamonds. A natural green stone is rare, which explains the wide spread of estimates. We rank it at about $5 million, the figure in the more conservative guide.
5. Kim Kardashian: about $4.5 million
A 15-carat cushion-cut diamond from 2013, designed by Lorraine Schwartz. Estimates cluster near $4.5 million in dollars, or about £3 million.
6. Taylor Swift: $1 million to $5 million
The 2025 ring is an old mine brilliant-cut diamond in a bezel setting, designed with Artifex Fine Jewelry. Carat estimates run from about 8 to 20, and values from $500,000 to $5 million, so this is the least certain entry on the page. It is a recent ring, and the estimates may move as more details emerge.
7. Paris Hilton: about $2 million
The 2021 ring is an emerald-cut diamond of about 10 carats, valued at about $2 million. An earlier 2005 ring of 24 carats was valued far higher, but the current ring is the one that counts here.
8. Blake Lively: $2 million to $2.5 million
A 12-carat light pink oval diamond from 2012, in rose gold with a pavé setting, designed with Lorraine Schwartz. The pink color adds a premium.
9. Kourtney Kardashian: about $1 million

10. Sofia Richie: about $650,000
A roughly seven-carat emerald-cut diamond from 2022 rounds out the list, at about $650,000.
What changed since the last version
Earlier versions of this list had Elizabeth Taylor at the top, with Beyoncé at $5 million and Mariah Carey at $2.5 million. Newer estimates put Carey’s ring at about $10 million. Rings from 2022 and 2025 have joined the list, and Jessica Alba’s and Jessica Biel’s rings have dropped off. We also saw a 2025 report calling Georgina Rodríguez’s ring the most expensive celebrity ring of that year, with an estimated worth of £1 million to £1.5 million, but we did not rank it.
