Also known as the Elizabeth Taylor Diamond, formerly the Krupp Diamond, the ring was a gift from the Welsh actor Richard Burton to his wife, Elizabeth Taylor.
It features a 33.19-carat diamond, weighing 6.638 grams.
Richard Burton bought the engagement ring for $305.000 and it was sold at Christie’s, on December 16, 2011, for $8.8 million.
