It is about her jewelry collection, which was auctioned in Los Angeles.
But a unique piece stood among the others- the La Peregrina Necklace.
The necklace was meant to display a 50.6 carat pearl. It was bought by her two-time husband Richard Burton in 1969 for $37,000.
Before that, the owner of the pearl was a Spanish royal, more than 500 years ago.
The pearl went for $11.8 million at an auction house named Christie’s New York. Back then it broke the record for any pearl sold at an auction.
