The cooperation between Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen dates back to 1934. Jacobsen was very productive both as a designer and as an architect. I mean, look at these chairs. They’re truly amazing!
Designed in 1958 for the lobby and reception areas in the Royal Hotel, in Copenhagen, the Egg Chair is available in a wide range of fabric and leather upholstery.
Also available is an upholstered foot stool with aluminium base.
The chair’s star base is made of aluminium mounted on a satin polished steel pedestal, and the shells are made of a synthetic material, padded with cold-cured foam. The Egg Chair can be yours for $7.891.
