1. Champagne Avenue Foch 2017 magnum with NFT art: $2.5 million
A magnum of the 2017 vintage sold together with an NFT of the Bored Ape artwork on its label. It was a private sale on an NFT marketplace, not a traditional auction.
How we valued it: Reported sale price. Most of the sum came from the digital artwork.
2. Goût de Diamants: About $1.8 million to $2.07 million (listed)
A bottle of grand cru champagne from a family estate in Oger, set in a case with a 19-carat diamond and an 18-carat gold logo. Another account says it sold for about $1.6 million.

3. Heidsieck Monopole 1907, the shipwreck champagne: $275,000
The bottles were salvaged from a Baltic Sea wreck in the 1990s. This is the highest auction price we could document for a champagne with real age.

4. Armand de Brignac Rosé Midas, 30 litres: About $275,000 (listed)
A hand-finished pink bottle holding 30 litres, the size of 40 standard bottles. It is sold to nightclubs and collectors.

5. Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Midas, 30 litres: At least $100,000 (listed)
The gold-label brut in the same 30 litre size, sometimes called Ace of Spades after its logo.

The auction house called it the most expensive champagne it had sold. It was estimated at about $20,000, and the buyer also received a tour of the Perrier-Jouët cellars and a meal by a Michelin-starred chef.

Only about 35 bottles of this metallic rose-gold Methuselah were made.
