The big yellow diamond was recovered by a young girl under a pile of debris. And later it became the staple piece of the most astonishing necklace ever.
The name of ‘The Golden Giant’ was later given to the necklace, which is comprised of more than 407 carats, and hovers from a rose gold setting surrounded with 90 white diamonds.
The glittering $55 million rose gold necklace was presented for sale in Singapore in 2013.
