Most Expensive Concept Cruise Ship
If you were searching for the costliest concept cruise ship out there, you’re in the right place.
Because today we’re going to show you the Most Expensive Concept Cruise Ship in the world, how it looks, and how much it’s worth.
In building ships in general, everybody is aiming for the bigger and better ones, but this one out-takes them all.
Initially proposed in the late 1990s, Freedom ship is a floating city project estimated at about $10 billion, which envisions a 1,317m long integrated city with condominium housing for 50,000 people.
So let’s have a look at the most expensive concept cruise ship in the world!
Designed by the Florida-based Freedom Ship International, it looks more like a floating city.
And because the ship is too large to ever dock, it would spend the whole time at sea, circling the globe once every two years.
Leaving the ship would be possible either by plane or by boat, thanks to a dock at the rear of the ship.
The most expensive concept cruise ship would be powered by solar panels and wave energy, and it would navigate from the east coast of the US across the Atlantic to Europe and into the Mediterranean.
“The Freedom Ship will be the largest vessel ever built, and the first ever floating city.”
Said the director and vice-president of Florida-based firm Freedom Ship International, Roger M Gooch.
If the most expensive concept cruise ship will turn to reality, it will measure 750ft at the beam, 350ft high, 4,500ft in length, and will feature schools, parks, promenades, hospitals, businesses, a casino, a shopping centre and an airport on the roof.
And beside the 50,000 permanent residents, the ship would also have room for an extra 30,000 daily visitors, 10,000 overnight guests and 20,000 crew members.
Even though the construction of the ship has not begun yet, this most expensive concept cruise ship is an amazing and huge project that a lot of people are talking about.
