These Are the 10 Most Expensive Concert Tickets!

The most expensive concert ticket we can document is a pair of Led Zeppelin tickets that went for $168,000 ($84,000 each) at a charity auction for the band’s 2007 reunion show in London, against a face value of $250. For tours you can still buy into, the priciest tickets we could verify are Taylor Swift Eras Tour resale seats, which reportedly reached about $7,000 each, and an average resale price of $3,284 for one Indianapolis show in November 2024. This list covers the ten highest prices we could verify, as of October 2026, and mixes auction, resale and face-value prices, which we label in each entry.

1. Led Zeppelin: $84,000 per ticket

The base price for the 2007 tribute show at London’s O2 Arena was $250. One fan paid $168,000 for a pair at a charity auction, so $84,000 each, which makes it the highest price we could document for a single concert seat. It was a one-night tribute reunion, and the money went to charity, which tends to help a bidder justify the number.

The price is a documented auction result, the only entry here that is a completed sale at that level.

2. Maroon 5: $8,701

The band’s Las Vegas residency at Park MGM was reported to have a peak price of $8,701 per attendee on its post-pandemic return in 2023, while the starting price was reported at $79 plus taxes and fees. That spread of more than a hundred to one is what a residency can do when demand spikes on the right night. We treat the peak as a reported number.

3. Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour: up to about $7,000

The tour grossed about $2.08 billion on 10.1 million tickets by our arithmetic, roughly $205 a ticket on average. Face value in the US ran from $49 to $449, with VIP packages from $199 to $899. Resale was another world, with a reported range of $500 to $7,000 across StubHub, Vivid Seats and TicketSmarter. The $7,000 is the upper end of that range, not a verified average.

4. Bruce Springsteen: over $5,000

The 2023 tour became a pricing argument. Dynamic pricing pushed some tickets above $5,000 at the height of demand. The tour went on to gross about $729.7 million by 2025. Most fans paid far less, so the $5,000 is the peak, not the typical seat.

5. Beyoncé, Renaissance World Tour: up to $5,000

An average seat was reported at about $350 in 2023. Better and front-row seating ran from $900 to $3,000, and some cities reached $5,000. That layered pricing is the model used by most stadium tours now.

6. Taylor Swift, Indianapolis: $3,284 average

One analysis of more than 87,000 secondary-market transactions found fans paid about $2,800 on average on the final leg. Indianapolis was the most expensive market, and the 2 November 2024 show averaged $3,284 per ticket. That is an average across a whole sales sample, which is why it ranks below the peaks above.

7. Justin Bieber, Justice World Tour: $1,500

The best seats on the 2022 tour were reported at $1,500. Top-tier seats on pop stadium tours now cost four figures as a matter of routine.

8. The Rolling Stones, 50 & Counting: $1,200

The 2012 tour is the oldest entry with a documented average, reported at about $1,200 per person. Few tours since have asked for an average that high.

9. Michael Jackson: more than $1,100

For the 2009 run, VIP tickets were reported at over $1,100, with an average ticket of about $105. Resale asking prices for VIP packages reportedly reached $35,000, which we list in the section on asking prices below because nobody confirmed a sale at that level.

10. Beyoncé, Cowboy Carter Tour: $801

Pollstar reported ticket prices for the SoFi Stadium opening run in Inglewood between $50 and $801, with 217,143 tickets sold and $55.7 million in gross. For the whole tour the average was $255, the highest average ticket price among the top ten tours of 2025.

Records set in 2025 and 2026

  • Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour was the top tour of 2025 with $407.6 million in gross from 1.6 million tickets, at an average of $255. Coldplay grossed $390.5 million at an average of $134. Oasis grossed about $405.4 million on its reunion tour, where standing tickets were reported at £148 and rose to £400 under dynamic pricing.
  • Stadium shows averaged $216.13 in 2025, up from $182.66 in 2024. The average for the top 100 North American tours was $134.23 for the full year and $122.15 for the mid-2026 period, down about 2.4%.
  • A comparison of Ticketmaster minimum prices for 2025 put Bruno Mars highest, with an average minimum of $254.29, ahead of Benson Boone at $151.73 and Tyla at $142.49.
  • No new single-ticket record has been documented. The Led Zeppelin price from 2007 still stands in the data we could verify.

What drives these prices

  • Scarcity beats fame. A one-night reunion and a residency night set prices that a multi-month stadium run struggles to match.
  • Dynamic pricing turns peak demand into primary-market face value. The $5,000 seats for Springsteen were not resale.
  • Tiers have replaced single prices. One tour now sells a $50 seat, a $450 seat and a $900 VIP package on the same night.
  • Resale follows cultural moments. Eras Tour resale averaged about ,800 on the final leg, many times the to face range.
  • Charity auctions break the ceiling. When the price is partly a donation, the buyer is not comparing it with another ticket.

Asking prices, not sales

Resale asking prices for Michael Jackson VIP packages reportedly reached $35,000 in 2009. We do not rank asking prices against completed sales.
