Best known for its rich history, Denmark owns stunning crown jewels. The Danish Crown Regalia consists of 3 crowns, a scepter, orb, a flask, and the sword (the oldest item from this treasure, dating from 1551).
The ‘old regalia’ or the crown of Christian IV was made by Didrik Fyren in the years 1595-1596, out made of gold and adorned with cut gemstones and pearls weighing 2895 grams.
The ‘new regalia’ features the crown of Christian V and the queen’s crown. It’s divided in 4 by 2 massive sapphires and decorated with volutes made of diamonds.
A true sign of royal power. The queen’s crown is more slender, embellished with table cut diamonds.
