These Are the World’s Most Expensive Crown Jewels

3Bavaria

Bavaria is one of the oldest parts of Europe and attained its status as Kingdom in 1806 from Napoleon.

The King of Bavarian, Maximilian I, commemorated this event by commissioning a set of crown jewels. The Bavarian regalia consists of the King’s Crown of Bavaria (adorned with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds and pearls), the Crown of the Queen of Bavaria, the 96-cm long State Sword, the Royal Orb, the 89-cm long Royal Scepter and the Palatinate Pearl which is also kept with the crown jewels, although it is not officially part of the collection.

To that, the crown is adorned with the Wittelsbach Diamond. Although you can’t put a price tag on this fine piece of art, the crown is estimated to cost more than $17 million.
