Leica cameras do not come cheap, and this specific model sustains the fact.
Being one of the only 25 cameras produced in the series, the Leica 0-Serie Nr.107 was one of the first to be exported to New York.
Being sold at the Hasselblad auction it is the only known camera to have the word “Germany” engraved on its top plate.
Although its worth was estimated at $500,000 to $650,000 an unknown collector from Asia managed to put up the winning bid-$1.9 million.
