1. Captain’s Choice Italy: from $49,900 per person
Captain’s Choice runs a self-drive supercar trip for up to 20 guests that starts in Naples and covers more than 1,000 km through the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna to Lake Como. The 2025 departure on 5 May was listed from $49,900 per person on a twin-share basis. Guests rotate through a fleet of the latest supercars, and the price covers luxury hotels, Michelin-starred meals, private tours of the Ferrari and Lamborghini headquarters and a cooking class in Tuscany.

2. Captain’s Choice Spain: from $47,800 per person
The Spanish version runs for eleven days from San Sebastian to Marbella, covering over 1,100 km with three days at the wheel. The July 2025 departure was listed from $47,800 per person twin share. The itinerary adds wine tasting in Ribera del Duero, a tour of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, the Alhambra and a flamenco evening in Malaga.

3. Captain’s Choice Italy, April 2026: from £27,500 per person
The 2026 Italy departure on 30 April is listed at £27,500 per person for 11 days, with up to 20 guests driving a convoy from Milan to Naples. The cars rotate daily between Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins and other marques. The trip includes the Ferrari headquarters, a stay at the Grand Hotel Furore on the Amalfi Coast and a pit crew and professional drivers on call. At roughly $1.30 to the pound, that is somewhere around $36,000. It is listed in a different currency from the 2025 trips, so the two prices should not be compared exactly.

4. HunterMoss Alpine supercar tours: from €17,990 per person
Luxury travel firm HunterMoss launched four curated supercar drives through the European Alps in January 2026, with prices starting from €17,990 per person. Guests choose from recent Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche models, stay in boutique hotels and can book winter departures with performance SUVs. Dates were announced for 2026 and 2027.

5. Gran Turismo Sardinia: €26,200 to €33,200 per car
This rally ran from 20 to 27 September 2026 around Sardinia, covering roughly 1,250 km with about five driving hours a day. It is priced per car for a driver and co-driver sharing a room. Bringing your own supercar costs €15,200. Hired cars range from the Ferrari Portofino M at €26,200 and the Ferrari Roma Spider at €27,700 to the Lamborghini Evo Spyder at €28,700, the Ferrari 296 GTS at €29,700 and the Ferrari 812 GTS at €33,200. That works out to €13,100 to €16,600 per person at the top end. The price covers seven nights in luxury hotels, all lunches and dinners, event photos and a luggage van. The 2026 edition was fully booked, and the organiser lists the 2027 Riviera event, 17 to 23 May 2027, as full too.

Prices on request
Gumball 3000, the long-running supercar rally, does not publish entry fees. Older reports put an entry at somewhere around $45,000 to $100,000 per car, with total costs rising well beyond that once shipping, support and car swaps are added. We cannot date those figures, so it is not ranked.
What happened to the Bugatti Veyron tour
The original version of this article described a five-day, 700 km Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse tour through Germany and Switzerland by Global Racing Schools. It was priced at €110,000 for ten people, around €11,000 each, and included five-star hotels and a visit to the IWC factory. We could not find the tour on sale today, and the operator’s site no longer shows it. The nearest current equivalent is the multi-car supercar tours above, which cost more per person but include far more driving.
What drives these prices
- Small groups. Twenty guests and a pit crew spread fixed costs over very few people.
- Fleet cost. Operators must buy, insure and ship late-model Ferraris and Lamborghinis, and a single crash can cost more than a seat on the trip.
- Hotels and food. All of these trips bundle five-star stays and Michelin-starred meals, which are most of the price.
- Scarcity. Fully booked events with waiting lists, like Gran Turismo, can hold their prices year after year.
