An underground missile base? Yes, please! The Atlas F missile silo, sold in 2002 for $2.1 million, was built by the federal government during the Cold War era.
The Defense Department housed once an intercontinental ballistic missile silo.
In 2002, real estate developers Bruce Francisco and Gregory Gibbons bought this old missile silo from the US Air Force and turned it into an exquisite home.
The silo home was valued at $18 million, but fetched on eBay just $2.1 million. It’s a shame though!
