1. Rolls-Royce 102EX Electric Car – $1.6 million
Sometimes known as the Phantom Experimental Electric, this car was developed so Rolls-Royce could prove that luxury car manufacturers could take on the electric car.
Using a 96 cell lithium-ion battery, the Phantom also has two water-cooled motors and three-phase electric power battery chargers. The interior is just like a normal Phantom, super luxurious with rich leather seats that double up as armchairs.
The car was sent around the world for tests and to be displayed, but there are no intentions to create a model that can be bought by the public. That doesn’t mean Rolls-Royce aren’t interested in producing a consumer electric car, it just won’t be this one specifically.
We even made this Top 10 Most Expensive Electric Cars in the World Video that you can share with your friends! Enjoy!
