A plug-in hybrid sports car, the i8 has a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, and reportedly only uses a very small amount of gasoline, making it very environmentally friendly indeed.
First unveiled at the 2009 International Motor Show in Germany, it developed from a concept car to a real, production car that was going to hit showrooms, and customers started receiving them in August 2014. With a top speed of 160 mph and a low weight, this model also has laser headlights, which reach much further than LED.
