2Elvis Presley’s Peacock Jumpsuit – Price: $300.000
The Peacock Jumpsuit was one of Elvis Presley’s favorites. And for good reason!
The luxurious jumpsuit was worn by the King during a concert in 1974, and it was shown at the press preview ‘A Rock & Roll History: Presley To Punk’ at Sotheby’s New York, on June 20, 2014.
Elvis Presley thought the peacock brought him good luck, so he wore the jumpsuit intermittently throughout October of 1974, and later gifted to Paul Lichte, the former concert promoter and manager.
The iconic costume features intricate embroidery, including brocade, multi-colored rhinestones and gold lame feather details.
It also had a plunging V-neck and high collar, as well as a wide belt decorated with gold medallions.
