5. Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale ($26,400,000)
After the golden era of Ferrari 250, the Ferrari 275 series were produced from the year of 1964 to 1968. During those four years, there were 970 units of this series produced in total. And they were divided into two main categories, the two-cam and four-cam.
As you can see from the picture above, Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale is classified into the two-cam category. This is the competizione version of its predecessor, the Ferrari 275 GTB. Four were built for the 1965 GT series. And then a dozen more followed for the following season.
Two of them were sold for street use, including this 1964 car on our list. It hit the RM Auctions house in California, United States two years ago. And one bidder took it home after bidding a whopping $26.4 million.
There are no significant differences between the race cars and these street cars. Both are powered by a 3.3-L V12 engine. The only notable adjustment was done to the tires. The street version is fitted with alloy wheels shod with Pirelli tires instead of Borrani wire racing wheels.
