3. Inception, spinning hallway
One of the best movie stunts was made for the Inception. The film that investigates the inner workings of a men’s mind and dreams which can be physically entered by agents, was directed by Christopher Nolan.
Known to the audience as a guy who likes to avoid CGI where possible and always favoring the gritty reality, Nolan took the real-life thing at other dimension with its giant spinning-hallway.
The amazing spinning-hallway was designed and constructed to pull of the scenes of actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt battling, zero-gravity style.
The giant 100-foot-long rotating hallway, built in three sets, was constructed in a series of converted blimp hangars outside London, England.
This scene alone took a reported 500 crew members and three weeks to complete.
With an intricate stunt of this scale, it’s no wonder the budget for this film came in at over $160 million. Apparently no harm was done, with the film raking in $800 million worldwide.
