2. Sid Luckman 1948 Leaf (yellow background) PSA 8: $71,800
Number two is Sid Luckman 1948 Leaf (yellow background) PSA 8 which was priced at $71,800.
This card features the greatest Bear’s quarterback of all time.
As one of the most expensive football cards in the world it was issued with multiple background colors and this yellow variety is the most difficult to find.
The card which had the greatest quarterback in Bears history was #1 card of the famous 1948 Leaf set.
But that doesn’t make it any less expensive. Number one cards are notoriously difficult to find in top condition and his is no exception.
The great condition and rare variation keep Sid firmly ranked at #2.
