Probably Claptopn’s most iconic guitar and also the most expensive, Blackie has an amazing story behind it!
It is recalled that Eric Clapton bought six Strats while in a guitar shop Texas. He gave three of them to Harrison, Townshend, and Winwood.
The other three he disassembled, took out the best parts and created Blakie, which was his most faithful guitar for over 15 years.
It was auctioned off to raise money for the Crossroads Rehab Center.
